this are my art block test stuff from last year
final piece!
comments: haha hmm the final piece is not all that wonderful, but its definitely an improvement from the previous draft.i used darker colours for the background, and it helped alot in bringing out the colour of the girl, as well as create depth in the painting. i could work on creating texture though, cos the picture seem to be too smooth, and perhaps paint some pattern on the russian dolls, cos they look kinda of plain the way it is =\ for the faces, i could try to somewat merge them to create a more flowly effect, to illustrate how the faces changeds as time flowed past. i could try to make the faces look more like they are painted on, like using cell shading and bold lines, especially for the hair. that way it would suggest more that they are the faces of the doll rather than random floating heads lols.
